Arkansas State Ombudsman, Kathie Gately, along with other consumer advocates, talks about importance of the Long-Term Care Ombudsman Program in this KARK news story.  The news story also highlights the work of Jeff Kelly Lowenstein with the Center for Public Integrity whose analysis of nation-wide staffing data showed widespread discrepancies in staffing levels reported by nursing homes.
