Under the Older Americans Act, the Administration on Aging (AOA)/Administration for Community Living (ACL) is tasked with administering the National Long-Term Care Ombudsman Resource Center (NORC). NORC is funded by an AoA/ACL grant and operated by the National Consumer Voice for Quality Long-Term Care (Consumer Voice).
You will receive your initial certification training directly from your state program and we provide webinar training, resources, and technical assistance to support your work.
NORC works closely with NALLTCO, the National Association of Local Long-Term Care Ombudsmen, and NASOP, the National Association of State Long-Term Care Ombudsman Programs.
