The page is broken down into topics such as abuse, neglect, and exploitation; transfer and discharge; and family and resident councils. Sub-pages within this section include the Ombudsman Program Examples page, Program Management page, and the Laws & Regulations page.
This page (including the Become a Volunteer and Volunteer Management pages) show how vital volunteers are to the Ombudsman program, how people can join, and how programs can manage and support volunteers effectively.
Technical Assistance is also referred to as “TA” and is practical support for Ombudsman programs. This page provides guidance, tools, and best practices that help Ombudsman programs improve documentation, case handling, communication, outreach, advocacy, and overall program operations.
The new website also provides a stronger foundation for sharing news, educational resources, and updates as our work continues to evolve.
