Since the pandemic began, complaints about involuntary discharges and transfers from senior care homes in Minnesota have risen nearly 30% over the same four-month period a year ago, according to the State Office. Evictions are the top reported grievance to the Ombudsman’s office, with 150 complaints lodged between March 1 and the end of June, records show.
