In the Associated Press article, "Nursing Homes Using Eviction to Discharge Difficult Residents" long-term care ombudsmen and other advocates are quoted about the problems that go along with nursing home evictions. The article also cites long-term care ombudsman program data in regard to complaints about discharges and evictions being up about 57 percent since 2000.
