Minnesota Ombudsman Cheryl Hennen Discusses COVID-19 Vaccine and Visitation Complaints

COVID-19 had an extremely negative effect on residents of long-term care. Because of visitation restrictions, they were left in isolation, leading them to feel as though they were imprisoned. However, Cheryl Hennen hopes that with the COVID-19 vaccine, there is a chance for revision of these visitation restrictions. 

The Minnesota Ombudsman Program will be resuming in-person visits to long-term care facilities for the first time since the spring.
