The Massachusetts Office of the State Long-Term Care Ombudsman provided assistance in an investigation which resulted in an agreement with the Attorney General to permanently bar a nursing home owner from operating long-term care facilities in Massachusetts and requires the defendants to pay $175,000 to the commonwealth due to pandemic response failures.
