A Texas Ombudsman program representative, Alexa Shoeman, was interviewed on the recent Personal Needs Allowance increase in Texas from $60 to $75.

Alexa discussed how residents need to buy many everyday essentials in addition to luxuries using money out of their own pockets. Because of this, the PNA increase will help make these purchases more accessible.
