Introduction to the National Ombudsman Reporting System Table 3 User Guide  (September 30, 2020)

This webinar was for State Ombudsmen and staff of the state office working with data and NORS annual reporting. Attendees received practical guidance for submitting complaint and systems issue narratives, facilities data, staffing information, program budget, and more. In addition, we provided a quick review of data management and continuous quality improvement resources. Webinar: Ombudsman Program Data Management to Ensure Quality (April 21, 2020)

Accurate data is critical for telling the resident’s story and documenting Ombudsman program advocacy and activities. This webinar reviews important components of a data management plan, connecting your data management plan with your program’s policies and procedures, and provides tips for implementing a data management cycle. Two states shared how they monitor and analyze their program data.
